Overview
Bambu Lab hotends have an all-in-one design with heatsink, throat, heater block, and nozzle as a single unit. Having this design allows Bambu Lab hotend to heat up much faster than a regular hotend and to prevent oozing or leaking filament between the nozzle and the heat break interface.
Bambu Lab hotends are sold both as a single Hotend with Nozzle (consists of the heatsink, throat, heater block, and nozzle), and as a Complete Hotend Assembly (consists of Hotend with Nozzle, plus cooling fan, ceramic heater, thermistor, and silicone sock).
The Complete Hotend Assembly is pre-assembled and ready to use in your Bambu Lab 3D printer. If you need to change your nozzle diameter, you can just replace the Hotend with Nozzle on your original Complete Hotend Assembly. Or you can directly replace the whole Complete Hotend Assembly.
